Oliver Ludlam is the founder of Ludlam Studios, a practice working across design, planning and delivery within the built environment.
His work spans residential, hospitality, commercial and mixed-use projects, supporting clients from early-stage feasibility through to planning and on to completion. This includes coordinating planning applications, engaging with local authorities and consultant teams, and ensuring that proposals are aligned with both design intent and delivery requirements.
Ludlam Studios is an interiors and architectural design practice that specialises in office design, restaurant design, workplace consultancy and high-end hospitality & residential projects. Our work is aimed at providing businesses, restaurateurs, hoteliers and developers with the very best in design services. At the heart of our work is a commitment to excellence.
Our core design team is based in Cheshire, however, we undertake work around the UK, Europe and the Middle East. We have developed strong relationships with specialist contractors, manufacturers and suppliers in order to provide our clients with the very best quality of materials, furniture and finishes every time.
about us
Oliver’s background combines design training with a practical understanding of planning, construction and commercial decision-making. His early exposure to the built environment — through both architecture and planning — has informed a broad, systems-led approach to projects, particularly where regulatory, technical and operational considerations intersect.
He studied Interior Architecture and Creative Practice in Manchester, followed by a Master’s degree in Building Information Modelling (BIM) and Integrated Design. Prior to this, he worked in finance, an experience which continues to inform a commercially grounded approach to development and project delivery.
Over the course of his career, Oliver has delivered projects for a range of established brands and clients, including Piccolino, Restaurant Bar & Grill, Zinc, Opera and Gino D’Acampo, alongside work for developers, operators and private clients.
Ludlam Studios operates across the UK, supported by a network of consultants, contractors and specialist suppliers, enabling the delivery of projects across a range of sectors and scales.
Oliver is a member of the Chartered Institute of Builders (MCIOB).

Jordan started his career working in electrical engineering. After deciding on a more creative path, he completed an Art & Design Foundation degree and continued to study for an Interior Design degree at the University of Chester. Following this, Jordan completed a Master's degree in Building Information Modelling at the University of Liverpool.
Jordan has taught at the University as a graduate digital learning facilitator for several years. Professionally, Jordan's background is as a Technology & Development leader at Visual Architects. Restaurant design specialist.
Jordan has introduced 3D Lidar Scanning and the use of Virtual Reality to optimise data capture with BIM technology. His passion for technology and design is a valuable asset to any practice and we are proud to have his expertise as part of the team.
